The Pittsburgh Steelers begin their defence tonight as they host the Tennessee Titans. This could turn out to be a real blood bath after the Titans handed the Steelers an embarrassing loss last year; at the same time disgracing the Terrible Towel. The Steelers defence wants redemption and their target…LenDale White.
Opening night! Oh tonight’s gonna a be a good night. Ultimately I look for the Steeler offence to take control of this match early and then turn to the defence to shut it down. Big Ben Roethlisberger will be looking to have an even better year this year in the passing game.
Starter Lawrence Timmons will not stat tonight’s game, as he is still nursing an injury. In his place will be; Keyron Fox, a special teams stand out and a guy who proved he could play this game at a high level in the pre-season. Tonight we also see the return of Super Bowl MVP Santonio Holmes; who doesn’t want to be forgotten behind new returnee Stefan Logan.
Look for the Steelers to come out flying and if they can get by, what might be the best offensive line in the NFL, it could be a long night for the Titans. My take on the 2009-2010 Steelers is they are even better than last year; tonight begins the quest to proving so. Prediction: Steelers 31 Titans 16.
